PAWEŁ POSTAREMCZAK
Paweł Postaremczak comes from Poznań and has been an integral part of the Polish jazz and improvisation scene since the 2000s.
A multi-instrumentalist and composer, he expresses himself most profoundly through the saxophone, his instrument of choice.
Paweł was a key member of the outstanding project HERA, alongside Wacław Zimpel, Ksawery Wójciński, and Paweł Szpura. Between 2010 and 2013, they recorded three albums in collaboration with outstanding musicians, including Hamid Drake, Raphael Rogiński, Maciek Cierliński, and Maniucha Bikont.
He is part of the trios Affinity (with Ksawery Wójciński and Cyprian Pakuła) and Purusha (with Paweł Szpura and Wojtek Traczyk), which are actively developing new material and preparing for upcoming performances.
Beyond these projects, Paweł has recorded with bands such as Snowman and has contributed to the world of theatre and film.
In his creative work, he aims to bring forward unforgettable experiences that can transcend your limitations. His out-of-the-box thinking allows him to write music that has beauty and quality, yet remains relatable and inspiring.
Currently, Paweł is working on a solo project, carefully guarding its details. While no sneak peeks are allowed, those who have heard from the rehearsal room can confirm: it promises to be a musical journey—simple yet groundbreaking.
